Vic Elford only drove the Advanced Vehicle Systems Shadow Mark 1 once. At the 1970 Mid Ohio Can Am meeting. The car was distinctive for its tiny wheels designed to reduce aerodynamic drag. The car was to retire after just 9 laps.
